We are so excited to be hosting our first event this semester (it’s been awhile)! We will be hosting this event on Thursday, Feb 1st @6:00pm in Bruninks 121 on East Bank Campus. For this event, we will be introducing our new officers, discussing what marine biology events we have in mind for this semester as well as what events you marine enthusiasts would like to see, and we will also be tie-dying marine themed T-shirts 🐙! T-shirts will be sold for $5 and all tie-dying supplies will be provided.
We are so excited for not only this event where we get to meet you face to face but what this semester has to come! See you all soon! 🐬

In honor of Valentine’s Day, we are hosting a meeting this Thursday, February 15th at 6:30pm in Bruininks 312. We will be playing a Kahoot about the Symbiotic Relationships of the ocean! 🩷🪸🐋

We hope you all had a relaxing weekend! We know the semester is starting to pick up and exams are among us so we hope you are all hanging in there and starting to get into the swing of things.
With that being said, we are hosting an Alumni Panel Event this week in collaboration with Women in Ocean Science that will allow alumni in the marine biology and environmental science fields to share their journey since graduating and offer valuable advice to all who are passionate about pursuing careers in these or related fields. We hope that their unique perspectives and experiences will inspire and guide you as you navigate your own paths! This event will be held on Thursday, February 22nd at 6:30 pm in Bruininks 121 or via Zoom (if that works better for you – DM us if you would like the Zoom link) where we will tune in to a Zoom call with Rebecca Bullers, Natalie Windels, C. Melman Niell, Christina Gengelbach, and Ian Cameron who are all alumni established in the field.
Please come with any questions you may have and an appetite because we will be providing pizza (: 🐟🐙🐚
