Reason For Involvement
From a young age, I have always been very passionate about Marine Biology and fascinated by the diverse life and ecosystems that exist in our oceans. So when I heard that the University of Minnesota had a Marine Biology Club I couldn’t wait to join! I saw it as an exciting opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals who want to make an impact on our oceans and gain experience in the field! Over the past couple of years, the Marine Biology Club has provided me with a platform to expand my knowledge and skills through workshops, engage in conversations with experts, contribute to marine research and conservation efforts, and raise awareness about the importance of preserving our oceans. Joining the Marine Biology Club has been one of the best decisions I made during my undergraduate career, it allowed me to turn my passion into action and has opened the door to many post-graduate opportunities.
