The club was founded in fall 2013 by a small group of passionate students. Although they were all from different backgrounds, they all had equal devotions to the preservation and enjoyment of the Earth’s oceans. The foundation of the club was centered around the idea that even though we live in landlocked Minnesota, our actions can still greatly impact the global ocean systems.
