TIE-DYING EVENT

For our first event of the semester we had students come together and tie-dye our customized “University of Minnesota Marine Biology Club” t-shirts with the back reading “YOU 🪼?”

We had an amazing turnout with 17 students showing up! We had a blast introducing the club and upcoming events, meeting new members of the club, tie-dying t-shirts, and sharing laughs!

SYMBIOTIC RELATIONSHIP MEETING

In honor of Valentine’s day, UMN Marine Biology Club got together to talk about symbiotic relationships of the ocean. 💙

For this meeting, we played a Kahoot that was filled with questions about different symbioses. We followed up our Kahoot fun with watching “My Octopus Teacher” on Netflix!

From mutualisms to parasitisms, club members were excited to learn more about the interconnectedness of the vast blue.
